Snow storm in Japan O.o

It was a very snowy and windy day ^^'

OMG it really was like a snow storm couple days ago.. O.o

Our dorm~

The campus~ the weather wasn't really bad yet^^

Me and Rachel leaving to Ebina

The view from the train looked the same as from the train when coming from Turku.. reminded me of Finland^^'

I went to Ebina on Saturday morning with my friend Rachel to eat sushi and to have fun... but instead we ended up getting stuck in Ebina due to the snowstorm.. the trains weren't moving and we found out there's NO buses to Tokai Daigaku-mae from Ebina.. ^^' We had to wait for an hour or more before the trains were opened for a moment and we got to go home (Thank god :D). We got to Tokai just in time, before the trains were shut again, this time entirely and nothing was moving.. expect taxis~ Good day to be a taxi driver-.-'

Ebina when we got there.. not bad~

Starbucks white mocha and cinnamon roll <3 a snowy day special for me :))

Ebina's weather getting worse :DD

Rachel getting stuck.. too much snow :D

Trying to take a nice pic... had to hold on to my hat that it wouldn't fly away ^^'

The bookstore where I bought my new study books for the holiday <3

TRY 3 (for JLPT 3 practice) and Korean language book (yes in japanese, but i checked all the grammar there is in the book, and i have already learned it all in japanese so it's kind of a recap for japanese too^^)

the empty sushi place.. because of the snowstorm ^^' (btw again, SO cheap!!)

Overall, the day was fun and the sushi was amazing, but I would have preferred that the Finnish-like weather would have stayed in FIN and not followed me to japan >.< People say that this was the worst snowstorm in 16 years.. Just my luck~ Well, it looked nice when u were inside and not outside freezing and falling over because of the strong wind..

Me trying to cover my face from the snow.. Feeling like home <3 :D

Rachel playing around XD

People (and us) waiting in-front of the gates to get some info about the trains.

The savior came <3

After getting inside (to a friends house) I was so hungry~ Thank u for the Kapsa (Chicken and Rice) ^^

and some marshmallows  <3 Miia this is for u :P

and of course a good ice-hockey game~ well dunno about good, but.. JPN - SWE (0-1)

Previous day:
Happy days~ We had a nice time in Ebina on Friday so the weekend was nice after-all :)

The day before (Friday) at the same sushi place~

...and it's all packed with people~ we had to wait for 15 min (not really much) but still to get a table.

Ordering~

The weirdest sushi i could think of O.o It's hamburger steak and cheese...

Me and Rachel

What we ate.. not really much cause usually people pile over 15 plates -.-' mine was 1.151 yen (8.30 e).

At the Toho cinemas (Ebina) going to watch a movie~

Thor, the dark world (マイティ・ソー ダーク・ワールド) was good~ though the subs were a little of.. ^^' for example: "Holy Shit" was translated into: "スゴイ" (great) ... japanese -.-'

Ou, the weekend :D after the snowstorm was over, the snow melted SO fast and on Monday there was nothing left O.o Only the pics were left to remind of the snowstorm-day in japan~ :)

"Let it go~ .... the cold never bothered me anyway!"

All the best,
Laura
